Elevate Member Since: March 7, 2014 (that’s when you first created your account) <3

My 1st class was March 8, 2014 (Bootcamp)

Personal motto:

If it doesn't challenge you, it won't change you!

What do you like to do for fun?

Spend time with my hubby, animals, and friends.

I am a very "artsy fartsy" person and I love to create. I can't limit myself to just one medium. I just love to create! I love photography, mixed media, quilting, jewelry making, etc.

Why did you join Elevate?

I used my free class to try it and loved the family atmosphere of the studio. From day one there, literally, they have been the most encouraging, supporting & pushing me!

What has been your biggest health/fitness achievement since you started at Elevate?

There are MANY, but the biggest by far has to be running my first Half Marathon. When I weighed over 300 pounds I never thought I would be running PERIOD, let alone running a half marathon!

What do you love most about Elevate?

Where do I start? There is NO way I could pick just one thing I love about the studio, but if I have to pick what I love THE MOST it would have to be the amazing amount of encouragement & support there! From other members to instructors to ownership, this is SERIOUSLY THEE MOST supportive, encouraging place & people I have ever been around.

What are your future fitness/health goals?

My BIGGEST goal is to become a personal trainer. I want to be an example for, and help, people that are where I was! I want them to see that it CAN be done! I was lucky enough to have some AMAZING people provide examples, help, support, and encouragement throughout this journey and I want to give the to others.

Other goals:
Improve my running skills (endurance)
Maintain my active lifestyle

How is Elevate helping you attain these?

NFS provides me a "safe-haven" where I feel comfortable working out. This is of upmost importance. In addition, and just as important, the other members & trainers are awesome about pushing me! They don't let me settle and are always pushing me to be the best version of myself.

What advice would you give to anyone considering getting started at Elevate?

Trust YOUR journey and DON'T QUIT!
It may not be quick or easy, but it will be worth it
